  • A $2.00 per bird deposit is required to order mature birds. We accept PayPal, Venmo, credit card, or check for deposits.

Shipping and pickup

Live birds leave the ranch by pickup or hand delivery so they travel short and settle fast. Hatching eggs are packed for transit and shipped.

Pickup at the ranch

Pickup is by appointment at P6 Ranch in Purmela, Texas, for eggs and birds alike. For live birds, bring ventilated crates sized for the number on your order.

Pickup runs Monday through Friday, or Saturday by appointment only. New disposable cardboard boxes are $10.00 each and hold 25 birds. For bird deliveries that can be placed in a pen, we provide clean transport crates at no cost.

Delivery and shipping

We hand deliver live birds within a set radius of Purmela for qualifying order sizes, scheduled against your release date. Hatching eggs can ship beyond that radius.

Delivery is $2.50 per loaded mile and is offered on large orders only:

  • 100 miles — 100 mature bird minimum, or 300 day-old chicks
  • 200 miles — 250 mature bird minimum, or 400 day-old chicks
  • 300 miles — 375 mature bird minimum, or 500 day-old chicks
